Results of 2017 NTCA Board of Directors Elections

Arlington, Va. (June 17, 2016)—NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association is pleased to announce the election results for the cooperative and commercial seats on the 2017 NTCA Board of Directors for the Southeast Region and Northwest Region.

The newly elected board members will be introduced at the opening general session of both the Northwest and Southeast Regional Conferences this summer. They will be seated in November to fulfill a three-year term expiring in 2019.

The following individuals will represent NTCA’s six regions on the board starting this fall:

Central Region

Commercial: Doug Boone, Premier Communications (Sioux Center, Iowa)
Cooperative: Ron Hinds, GRM Networks (Princeton, Mo.)

North Central Region

Commercial: John Klatt, Lakeland Communications Group, LLC (Milltown, Wis.)
Cooperative: Kevin Beyer, Federated Telephone Cooperative (Chokio, Minn.)

Northeast Region

Commercial: Mark Bahnson, Bloomingdale Telephone Co. (Bloomingdale, Mich.)
Cooperative: James M. “Jim” Dauby, Perry-Spencer Rural Telephone Cooperative (St. Meinrad, Ind.)

Northwest Region

Commercial: Allen R. Hoopes, Silver Star Communications (Freedom, Wyo.)
Cooperative: Don Bitz, Triangle Communications (Havre, Mont.)

Southeast Region

Commercial: H. Keith Oliver, Home Telephone Co. (Moncks Corner, S.C.)
Cooperative: Fred Johnson, Farmers Telecommunications Cooperative (Rainsville, Ala.)

Southwest Region

Commercial: Janet Britton, EATEL (Gonzales, La.)
Cooperative: William P. “Bill” Hegmann, Southwest Arkansas Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (Texarkana, Ark.)
