NTCA Applauds Confirmation of Chairman Pai to FCC

Arlington, Va. (October 2, 2017)—NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association today issued the following statement from Chief Executive Officer Shirley Bloomfield in response to the Senate’s confirmation of Chairman Ajit Pai to serve another five-year term at the FCC:

“NTCA congratulates Chairman Pai on his Senate confirmation to serve a second term on the Federal Communications Commission. Hailing from Kansas, he knows first-hand what quality and affordable communications mean to rural communities, and we are eager to continue working with the Chairman and his colleagues on removing barriers to investment and advancing and sustaining our nation’s universal service goals.”
