Arlington, Va. (August 30, 2017)—As telcos in Texas and Louisiana deal with the effects of Hurricane Harvey, NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association has posted some supplies made available by member telcos in the Disaster Relief Clearinghouse on the NTCA website. To date, NTCA has not received any specific requests for help or supplies from affected telcos but we continue to communicate with companies in Texas and Louisiana, many of whom have reported that operations have not yet been adversely impacted by the storm.
NTCA will continue to communicate with member companies in Texas and Louisiana and update the clearinghouse as new needs and offers of assistance are known.
