Arlington, Va. (September 25, 2019) - On September 25, NTCA - The Rural Broadband Association in conjunction with fellow members of the Rebuild Rural coalition sent a letter to the Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ranking Member Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) urging consideration of legislation to help address rural healthcare infrastructure challenges. The letter, which can be found here, highlighted specific policy areas aimed at improving the nation's healthcare service and delivery to rural communities. This includes the promotion of reliable and high-speed broadband to facilitate the use of new technologies for innovative methods of healthcare delivery to rural America.
