Registration Information

Registered attendees were sent an email on July 24 and 28, with log in information to participate in the events.
If you are a registered attendee and have not received your login information, please contact us.

All conference attendees must register in order to attend virtual conference events. 

Registration is not valid until NTCA receives payment.  To receive a price rate, payment must be received by close of business on the cutoff date listed for that price rate. Payments to NTCA are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

*To attend the preconference workshop, you must be registered for both the conference and preconference workshop. 

 

 

New to virtual conferences? 

An orientation will be included to guide you step-by-step through the process. Register directors individually for the 2020 Virtual Summer Symposium for a unique conference with exciting features best experienced through individual logins.

Registered attendees will be sent an email with login information to participate in the event. A few of the exciting features that will require individual logins include:

  • Ability to set up a profile, including photo, company information and time-zone specific settings. This allows for attendees to interact and network in a more personal way.
  • Network with your peers, speakers, exhibitors, and NTCA staff through our dynamic chat which allows you to:
    • Hold discussions during the sessions
    • Private one-on-one messages between other attendees and exhibitors
    • Direct message the speakers 
  • During most of the presentations you will be able to chat with fellow attendees and ask the speaker questions in the Q&A box – engage in real-time conversation to share reactions or questions. 
  • Sessions will be available on-demand following the conference. Attendees can use their same login to review sessions for several weeks. This makes the Virtual Summer Symposium an option for directors who need flexibility based on the time zone or conflicts with professional or personal commitments.
  • Attend a Roundtable: Gather with peers from similar-sized companies to discuss the topics that matter most. Share your stories and learn from others how telco boards across the country tackle common issues.
  • Opportunity to win prizes – participate in activities throughout the conference for chances to win prizes as conference attendees and by visiting Solutions eXchange booths.
  • Continue your progress toward the Director Core Curriculum Certificate this year. Attendees will earn P102, T106, and G106 credit. The preconference workshop earns you B110 credit.

The symposium is designed to advance governance skills and to enhance the effectiveness of rural telecoms, the heart of this conference are our exceptional speakers who will provide valuable takeaways for telco directors. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted via email to [email protected].

Cancellations submitted by close of business on July 3 will receive a full refund.

Cancellations submitted between July 4 and close of business on July 22 will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee.

Cancellations submitted after start of business on July 23 and unclaimed registrations during the event are not eligible for refund.
