(Jun 23) In a meeting with staff to Chairwoman Rosenworcel, NTCA proposed a method identifying “qualified competitors” with respect to the updated CAF-BLS and A-CAM mechanisms. The proposal is a straightforward means to ensure universal service by confirming where a would-be competitor is in fact capable of (or otherwise committed to) serving each location in rural geographies.
