(Jan 12) In comments filed with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, NTCA and ACA Connects support a NTIA backed proposal to simply historic preservation reviews applicable to federally funded broadband projects. The associations noted that these reviews are time-consuming and expensive for small providers and the ACHP proposal to simplify them is thus critical to reducing the difficulties associated with broadband construction in deeply rural areas.
