(Dec 22) In a filing with the FCC, NTCA pointed to broad industry support for certain amendments to the Enhanced A-CAM program, in particular the need for a proper assessment of where competition will be deemed to exist in adjusting universal service support. NTCA further discussed the need for Enhanced A-CAM deployment milestones comparable to the BEAD program as well as the ability of a provider to rescind its election of that program’s support if downward adjustments exceed 20%.
