(Sep 8) In the FCC’s NG911 proceeding, NTCA stated that the FCC’s proposed cost allocation method for the exchange of NG911 traffic would impose significant and new transport cost on rural carriers that create universal service implications. NTCA further noted that the FCC’s proposal is based on factual, technical and legal errors and should therefore be set aside.
