NTCA Points to Substantial Costs, Burdens and Enforcement Uncertainty Regarding Proposed Rules Designed to Address Digital Discrimination

(Mar 4) In joint comments filed with the FCC, NTCA along with industry representatives encouraged the FCC to allow for time to evaluate the impact of the first set of rules before considering imposing any additional requirements to address digital discrimination of access. NTCA also encouraged the FCC to exempt small providers from the requirements due to the substantial costs, burdens, and enforcement uncertainty that members will experience if the proposed rules are adopted.
