(Jun 5) In comments to the FCC, NTCA noted that certain third-party “signing” arrangements could undermine the STIR/SHAKEN ecosystem and allow bad actors to comingle their calls with legitimate calls made by NTCA members’ subscribers. NTCA proposed a minor rule change to close this potential for abuse.
