NTCA Files Comments on Support of Broadband-Enabled Telehealth for Veterans

On October 12, 2018, NTCA filed comments on veterans' use of broadband for telehealth and employment. NTCA offers the case that Veterans use of broadband is evident and promotes creative tools like the NTCA Virtual Living Room that demonstrates effective partnering of private industries to increase the use of V.A. telehealth and other online services.

NTCA Members and Staff met with FCC Advisors on USF Budget

On October 11, 2018, NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association, together with Joey Anderson, chief executive officer of Nortex Communications, Brian Boisvert, general manager of Wilson Communications, Charlie Cano, general manager of Etex Telephone Cooperative and, Jennifer Otwell, general manager of Totelcom Communications, met with Arielle Roth, wireline advisor to Commissioner Michael O'Rielly; and Travis Litman, chief of staff to Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel to discuss matter in the following proceedings.

NTCA Meets with Wireline Competition Bureau staff to Discuss USF Budget Concerns

On October 4, 2018, the undersigned on behalf of NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association met with Sue McNeil, Alexander Minard, Suzanne Yelen, Ted Burmeister, and Jesse Jachman from the Wireline Competition Bureau to discuss matters in the above-referenced proceedings. Specifically, NTCA urged action by the Federal Communications Commission with respect to three policy priorities as soon as possible.
